ARTIST STATEMENT
Savanna Howell (b. 2000, Colorado) is a photographer and storyteller that specializes in the link between the human world and the natural world. She grew up immersed in the outdoors, exposed to the miraculous patterns of life and death and the role we play in them. This upbringing led her down a creative path that revolves around the complex and vital relationships that humans share with their planet. Utilizing natural light and intimate compositions, her photographs endeavor to authentically illustrate the bond between man and nature, and highlight the ordinary moments that when looked at a bit closer, are actually quite extraordinary.
